Channel Marketing Manager
The Channel Marketing Manager works in partnership with the VP of Channel Sales and individual Channel Account Sales Managers to implement co-marketing campaigns with our Channel partners, that lead to increased pipeline generation and directly contribute to meeting Credant’s sales and revenue growth goals.
These goals are accomplished through developing quarterly Channel Marketing plans for Credant, and with individual Resellers/Partners; running Partner education, marketing, motivation and enablement programs; and supporting Channel Sales Managers in implementing field marketing events.
This person is also part of the Credant Marketing team and participates with Product Marketing, PR, and Creative Services to ensure that Channel Program, and specific reseller needs, are met.
Strategy, Planning & Budget
- Work with VP of Channel Sales and team of Channel Account Managers & Business Development Rep’s to enable Partners to generate Sales Opportunities / Pipeline.
- Prepare quarterly and annual Channel Marketing Plan for Credant.
- Prepare quarterly and annual Marketing Plans with key Partners, supporting Channel Sales Account Manager in delivering Quarterly Business Reviews.
Marketing Materials
- Initiate and manage programs to educate resellers on Credant’s Data Protection Products and Solutions (Credant Partner Portal, Reseller trade shows and training events, Direct and video training, etc.).
- Work with Product Marketing and Creative Services to ensure production of appropriate educational and marketing/merchandising materials appropriate to Partner Sales and Training needs.
- Create and distribute reseller demo scripts, sales tools, campaign and presentation materials to support Partner enablement and pipeline generation.
- Maintain regular contact between Credant and our Resellers/Partners via Credant Partner Portal, Partner Newsletters, E-mail and Telephone communications.
Tracking & Analysis
- Track the ROI of Channel Marketing activities and campaigns, in terms of both Pipeline generated and Sales Revenue achieved.
- Track and identify the most effective programs for sell-in and sell-through.
- Train Partners on how to jointly track marketing activities, leads and opportunities through the Credant Partner Portal.
Knowledge & Skills
- This person should have proven experience in a similar role within the IT Sector, working as part of a small team. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of the IT Security Market; of the Competitive landscape; of who the Customer is and what their needs are and of how to discuss and demonstrate the Credant product portfolio and overall value proposition to help meet those needs.
- As Channel Marketing Manager, the ideal candidate will be similarly capable of training other people to do likewise.
- He/She must be very thorough, detail and completion oriented, and able to manage several projects simultaneously.
- This individual must be motivated to become a company expert in how Credant can better support the marketing and sales needs of our Channel Partners, and must either possess or be eager to obtain the required knowledge.
