Bob Heard

CREDANT's focus on building value starts with Bob Heard, whose leadership skills have been forged through more than 30 years of experience in business and technology management.

Since he founded CREDANT in 2001, the company has shown remarkable growth: INC magazine recognized CREDANT in 2007 and 2008 as the No. 1 fastest growing security software company based upon three-year revenue growth. Bob is an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year (2005), a Tech Titan nominee (2006) and a TiE Renegade Entrepreneur (2008). He began his career at IBM and has held subsequent leadership roles in two start-ups: Sterling Commerce and Entrust.

Bob is a graduate of Texas Tech University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

David Becker

David Becker's extensive experience as a senior executive includes efficiently managing finance, accounting, treasury and corporate development organizations at the global level.

As Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for worldwide financial operations, capital management and financing activities. David has held executive financial positions at i2 Technologies and Price Waterhouse. At i2, he served as the Senior Vice President - Finance and was responsible for treasury, risk management, corporate development and financial reporting and analysis. He established the necessary policies, procedures, systems and controls for supporting an organization that grew from 150 employees and $20 million in total revenue to more than 6,000 employees and $1 billion in revenue.

David earned his Bachelor's degree in accounting and his Master's degree in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas. He is licensed to practice as a CPA.


Chris Burchett

Chris Burchett is an expert in both embedded firmware and enterprise software and is the author of numerous patents. Since co-founding CREDANT in 2001, he has been the driving force behind the technical direction of the CREDANT product line. Chris currently leads the development effort and product management team.

Chris previously served as Director of Research and Development for i2 Technologies, where he led the company's mobile wireless initiative as well as the first large-scale development of the company's forecast, supply, capacity, allocation and order planning products. Prior to i2, Burchett designed and developed real-time embedded systems using artificial intelligence for top-secret projects.

Chris received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Texas Tech University and his Master's degree in Computer Science from Southern Methodist University.


Darryll Dewan

As EVP of Worldwide Sales and Field Operations, Darryll Dewan is responsible for sales, support, professional services, customer loyalty and business development globally.

Having worked with several early-stage and high-growth companies, Darryll has extensive experience in building and managing successful sales and field operations. Prior to joining CREDANT, he was the Group President at SourceForge Enterprise Software, and the EVP and President of Global Alliances and Strategic Accounts at i2 Technologies. He also has held various senior level sales roles with Amdahl Corporation, Oracle and Legent Corporation, and has served as a Group Manager for the finance industry at IBM. Darryll is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.


Andrew Kahl

Andrew Kahl leads CREDANT's customer facing operations and is responsible for global client services, customer care and technical account management. As one of the company co-founders, he has helped CREDANT get recognized on the INC 500 list of the fastest growing small companies in America in 2007 and 2008.

Prior to joining CREDANT, Andrew served as an entrepreneur in residence at Austin Ventures, one of the largest and most established venture capital firms in the United States. Prior to Austin Ventures, Andrew was Director of Operations at i2 Technologies; he helped build the company's initial infrastructure in North America and Europe from a start-up to a $1 billion global company.

Andrew earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and economics from the University of Iowa and Northern Illinois University. Andrew also received his MBA with honors from the University of Notre Dame.


Doug Linebarger

Drawing on extensive experience in the software industry, Doug Linebarger is responsible for advising executives and board members on a variety of topics, including corporate compliance, securities law disclosure, mergers and acquisitions and licensing issues. Doug is responsible for leading CREDANT’s legal department and managing corporate contracts.

Prior to joining CREDANT, Doug was the General Counsel for One Network Enterprises, Inc. He also served as Associate General Counsel for i2 Technologies.

Doug received his law degree from Baylor University.


Pete Morrison

Pete Morrison, a veteran with more than 20 years of enterprise software industry experience, is responsible for all business in North America and the United States federal government.

Pete has an extensive background in the development of organizations at both the management and territory level. Prior to his current role, Pete was Director of Federal Sales, helping to establish CREDANT as a major supplier of Data At Rest solutions to a number of government organizations. Pete also served as Vice President of North America for Imperva, a security software company and was one of the first sales representatives for Netegrity, a company that grew to become the leader in Identity Management Solutions. Pete attended Indiana University.


Darren Shimkus

Darren Shimkus brings deep subject matter expertise in mobile technology and IT security to CREDANT, where he leads business development, alliances, technical partnerships and channel teams.

Prior to CREDANT, Darren worked at Good Technology (Acquired by Motorola, NYSE: MOT), where he served in business development and product management roles. There, he was responsible for the development of the company's S/MIME email technology, an award-winning secure mobile email product targeted at the US government. Prior to joining Good, Darren worked at the Corporate Executive Board (NASDAQ: EXBD) in Washington D.C. Darren studied economics at William and Mary and the London School of Economics. He holds an MBA from Stanford University, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.


Sean Glynn

Sean Glynn brings nearly 20 years of international marketing experience to his role as CREDANT’s Vice President of Marketing, in which he oversees corporate, web and partner marketing, product marketing, public relations and advertising.

Sean was previously the Director of Field Marketing with Sophos Plc, in Oxford, England, where he developed global marketing campaigns and coordinated the customer lifecycle program across nine subsidiaries worldwide. He has managed numerous marketing launches for both hardware and software for companies in Texas and Europe throughout his career and has in-depth experience within the data security industry.

Sean received a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from the University of Limerick in Ireland.
