CREDANT Technologies Awarded Contract with U.S. Army AMRDEC

DALLAS, April 26, 2010 - CREDANT Technologies, the market leader in mobile data protection solutions, today announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide security software and services for the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Research Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC).

CREDANT Technologies will provide AMRDEC with CREDANT Mobile Guardian to ensure compliance with government data protection requirements, including OMB-M-06 and FISMA. CREDANT Mobile Guardian will safeguard all data on mobile devices, such as laptops, desktops, and removable media.

The solutions will provide audit and reporting capabilities that comply with data breach notification laws and can help prove that data has been encrypted if lost or stolen.
